LifeStream Blood Bank is encouraging all eligible donors in the Coachella Valley and Southern California to donate blood to help boost low supply levels. The blood center has had to import 300 blood products from other blood banks to keep up with hospital demand, according to a release. LifeStream Blood Bank provides blood products and services to more than 80 Southern California hospitals, but as of June 14, it has had less than two days worth of blood supply on hand. "Every year, the summer months are some of the hardest for blood collection," Dr.
