A man driving the wrong direction on the 91 Freeway in Corona struck another car early Monday, Oct. 2, resulting in the death of both drivers, the California Highway Patrol said. The collision happened about 12:10 a.m. in the left, westbound lane just west of the 15 Freeway. Both cars caught fire. Rescuers were able to pull the victim, 22-year-old Placentia resident Jeremy Breen, from his Mitsubishi Lancer, said Officer Javier Navarro, a CHP spokesman. But he was pronounced dead about 25 minutes later, the Riverside County Coroner's Office said.
